Hi my name is Cara and our lesson today will be looking at a second strategy for speaking part 2 of the IELTS speaking section. In this strategy, the structure of the response is also divided into three parts.

You could think of these three parts as three different stories you39;ll have to tell a story about what happened before, a story about what39;t get stuck trying to think about what to talk about. As long as you can think of three different stories, you39;s not true.

In the official marking criteria for this speaking test, there is nothing stating that you must talk about every bullet point. The bullet points are only there to help you.

So if you get a little off-topic, that39;s learn how to structure answers with the past, present and future stories. Let39;ll use that means of transport more or less often in the future and why.

So this question is asking you to talk about one mean of transportation you often use. We could talk about three means of transportation.

One in the past, one in the present and one in the future. But before we do that, we need to let the examiner know what you39;d like to tell you three stories about my experiences with transportation.

Here are my notes. In this example, I wrote down details from two different past experiences that I could talk about.

I used to ride the bus and I also used to drive a car. The point is they39;s how I would respond. Well, first of all, I used to take the bus.

2. Chinese作为名词使用，如果需要加上a的时候一定要加上a的话，请不要忘记Chinese后面应该有名词。 如果在Chinese之后使用了其他名词，则需要加上a来修饰该名词。 I am a Chinese person .而且还需要a，如下所示

1 ) I'm a Chinese man .我是中国人。

2 ) I'm a Chinese woman .我是中国女性。

3 ) He's dating a Chinese girl .他在和一个中国女孩约会。

注意2:A Chinese man可以用来形容中国人，但绝对不要说自己是。

1 ) China man

这是对中国人种族歧视的称呼。 金泉留学网

Chinese和China看起来一样，但这里是错误的。

3 .如何回答自己的国籍一般在知道新朋友的时候，会被问到自己的国籍。 那么，这个时候，到底怎么回答？ 请看下面的对话：

答案很简单：

B:I'm Chinese .我是中国人。

填写表格nationality一栏时，请注意不能写Chinese、China的哈哈。

因为不仅自己被问到国籍，你也很可能想知道别人的国籍，所以正确的询问方法是不要用A的哈哈。

你是美国人吗？ Are you American

Are you an American这个问法是错误的，很多人都在使用。 哈哈哈

从语法上来说，用a/an也是正确的，但听起来有点感情用事。 你很在意对方是哪里人，可能还不喜欢对方。

所以通常不要使用a/an。

4 .特别“我是上海人”的上海人，都是直接说I am上海呗吗？

这句话其实还有其他特别的含义。

读了下面的说明会吓一跳。 上海这个单词不是上海的意思，而是口语里表示“绑架”的意思。 现在的俚语中也引用了“偷了或拿了，借了不还”。

这句话的由来是因为多年前人们从欧洲来上海做生意，水手们一般都不愿意这样渡海。 船长先骗了他们，发现开船后水手们要去的是上海。

所以上海在这里被用作动词：

1 ) We are shanghaied。

千万不要翻译成我们是上海的。 我们应该被骗了。

外国人一定会无言以对吧

2 ) I got a wedding to shanghai。

可能是“我要夺走婚姻”的意思。 引诱、胁迫某个新娘不要和新郎结婚。

另一种表达方式是哪里的人？ 一般可作为以下参考。

1 )北京人=北京人

2 )上海人=Shanghainese

但是，使用-er、-ese、-ian中的哪一个不是很有规律，所以一般的表达方式还是使用以下的比较妥当，但我是中国人，需要完全掌握。

1 ) I'm from city/province。

Eg :

2 ) I'm from Hangzhou .我来自杭州。

3 ) I ' m from光洞.我来自广东。

哈哈，你是哪里人？ 但是我知道你一定是中国人，所以I am Chinese拿去，简单骄傲地使用吧。
